Baltic Marine Surveyors (BMS) was founded in 1991.
BMS is a well-established company with its Head Office located in Gdynia and manned by professionals.
BMS is active in all Polish ports as well as in major inland locations throughout Poland.
BMS has also a branch office in Szczecin.
Basing on the agreement with the international inspection company
Saybolt International BV, Rotterdam the company acts as Saybolt Poland.

In 1995 BMS, as the very first Polish cargo surveying company, implemented the ISO 9002:1994 Quality Management System
and obtained full cartification covering all services provided by our company.
In 2009, BMS' Quality Management System was re-certified, in accordance with the currently valid ISO 9001:2008 standard.
The System is audited by Bureau Veritas Quality International every year.
BMS was honoured by Saybolt International BV for distinguishing
quality of executed services in a prestigious world-wide contest among its over 140 branch offices and selected partners.

Laboratory
BMS has its own analytical laboratory specializing in such products like:
» crude oil
» petroleum products
» chemicals and petrochemicals
Analysis are carried out according to Polish and international standards (ASTM, ISO, EN, IP etc.)
Laboratory of Baltic Marine Surveyors (Saybolt Poland) has been accredited by Polish Accreditation Center.
The achieved accreditation confirmed independence and competence of the laboratory and fulfilled all the requirements
according to PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005.
